April 7 - per Volusia Forever, County Council made a strategic move to ensure that every dollar spent on land conservation is handled with maximum financial efficiency.
Council took up a resolution making the County a 'placeholder' under federal tax regulations whereby they can use tax-exempt bond proceeds for land acquisitions made before the bonds are actually issued.
